L'esantema usualmente compare 3-5 giorni dopo l'esordio della febbre, ha carattere maculopapuloso, e spesso alcuni elementi presentano al centro una componente petecchiale. Il rash tipicamente compare prima al tronco e successivamente agli arti, con interessamento palmo-plantare.

The rash usually appears 3 to 5 days after the onset of fever with maculopapular feature and central petechiae in some of the maculopapules. Rash typically starts on the trunk with involvement of the palms and soles.
