Matthias Church

So named because the Renaissance king Matthias Corvinus was married here, the church we see today is mainly a neo-Gothic creation dating back to the late 19th century, designed by the architect Frigyes Schulek.
An interesting fact: Matthias church was one of the filming locations for Michele Soavi's horror movie The Church, written (among others) by Dario Argento.
