The Parliament

The Parliament

The Parliament (Országház) was built in 1902. This impressive building (almost 700 rooms) has a weak point in its covering, porous limestone very vulnerable to pollution. There are guided tours in many languages, but you should ask well in advance, because it could happen (as was the case for me) that the policemen at the entrance tell you, kindly but inflexibly, that no more visitors are admitted till the next day.
