The Basilica of St Peter

Basilica of St Peter

This wonderful church dates back to the 11th century, but most of what you see today comes from renovations of neo-Romanesque style, carried out in 1881 . The interior is simply gorgeous, it is worth a visit at all costs. Not to be disdained, on the open space in front of the Basilica, an early Christian tomb chapel of the year 350 AD, with frescos depicting Adam and Eve and Daniel in the lions' den.
