The parish church organised a dinner to raise money for the school in Calle I for street children. We arrived at eight, the time written on the ticket, but there were still people arriving at half past nine, it's something you get used to here! Before the food came out we were entertained, first, by children from the school and, then, by some dancing by students from the nearby dance school. Later on there was a raffle.
Like all these events here, it was terribly dragged out and if you're not in the mood or the "presenter" is not a very nice guy, which was our case, you may feel like leaving before the conclusion. But it was still good to see the half hour of flamengo dancing, it was nearly worth going just for that!
