    Side-Projects


    1973 Lega Metallica

    Bergamini joined this band as roadie in 1972 and then became official member
    in 1973, playing his first gigs. Better info will be appreciated.


    1974 Alta Marea

    First live appareance of Bergamini was in February 1974, joining
    this dark-metal-progressive band, now dead. Better info will be appreciated.


    1974 Sepulcrum Dei

    First own band of Bergamini, now dead. Principally metal/new wave, some
    concerts. This band was dead around 1978. The old material should be released
    soon in a low-price double CD set. Better info will be appreciated.


    1979 Suicide Commando

    The early nucleus of Kirlian Camera.
    Initially formed by Bergamini, Fabrizio Chiari and Mauro Montacchini, the band
    played various gigs with good reviews. A demo was also recorded.
    In May 1980 Simona Buja joined the band. The gig of the official debut was
    unsuccessful, due technical problems, so the band decided to change monicker and
    Kirlian Camera, proposed by Montacchini, rose.


    1982-1984 Hipnosis

    Successful Italian techno-disco band in the early '80s, born in Parma and founded
    by Stefano Cundari. The line-up included Ugo Solenghi and Pauls Sears (that later
    joined Kirlian Camera).
    Particularly popular in Germany, thank to the Vangelis cover of Pulstar.
    Angelo Bergamini was the keyboardist from 1982 to 1984. He left the band
    (then splitted) because it was too distant from his real musical interests.

    1984-1988 Ordo Ecclesiae Mortis

    Side-project of Kirlian Camera, it's linked to the next side-project
    Zentral Friedhof.
    This because contemporary at the great success obtained with the single Blue Room,
    the less pop side of Kirlian Camera continued to pulse, and the band decided to record
    new material under these names and contemporary content the label that forced for
    commercial songs.
    The result of these sessions is partially represented on 1985-1986, together with material
    recorded under the name Zentral Friedhof. In an interview Angelo Bergamini said he
    would like to release the other "missing" tracks, before or after.

    Project of Simon Balestrazzi, born in 1981 in Parma, Italy.
    It also sees the presence of Bergamini as keyboardist and producer and Emilia

    since 1991.

    1992 Alien Martyr

    Side-project of Bergamini now dead. The only official production was the song
    Dying Alone for the compilation
    Fall From Light.


    1995-2002 Uranium USSR 1972

    Side-project of Bergamini. An official track was released on
    Absentee,
    released under the name Kirlian Camera. This track is really a collaboration
    between these two bands, even if the presence of Paolo Varola in the credit
    notes of this track makes think the involving of this artist for this side-project.
    First live appearance was the improvisation show at the contemporary art
    center Artandgallery in Milan (Italy), on July the 9th 2002.

    1997-2003 Stalingrad

    Side-project of Bergamini, Elena Fossi and Ivano Bizzi.
    First official appearance was in 1998 with the track Der Letzte Flug, released
    on
    Thorak compilation and then re-released on a few of other compilations
    (World Of Gothic, Nightingale Vol.2).
    The release of an untitled split vinyl with Criminal Asylum was deleted, while an
    album called Court-Martial was released by June 2002, after many delays and
    working title of Neither Honour Nor Glory.


    1998-1999 January Zero

    Side-project with Barbara Boffelli, never started officially.


    2003 Camera Artica

    Collaboration between Kirlian Camera and
    Siderartica.
    First official appearances on FOS III MCD.

    1981 Krishna Das

    Angelo Bergamini helped this band from Italy founded by Marco Piazza,
    partecipating to a studio sessions for the release of the MC "Samadhi".
    They also played live some concert together.
    It's rumoured that a CD edition of the album exists.


    1984 East Wall

    Band of Fabrizio Chiari, ex keyboardist of Kirlian Camera.
    Produced by Charlie Mallozzi (involved into the band, see
    biography for details),
    the work of this band were the Eyes Of Glass 12", released by No Comment (I) /
    ZYX (D), that became hit-single in Germany and saw the collaboration of Angelo
    Bergamini
    and the Silence LP, released by Elettrica Dischi (I).


    1985 Paul Sears

    Ex-member of the band (see
    biography for details), after his split he released the
    The Spirit Of The Age 7" & 12", released by Italian Records (I), label of Kirlian
    Camera
    in that period.


    1988 This Mortal Coil

    Angelo Bergamini was invited by John Fryer to recordings of the third album of
    this band, Blood, but was forced to drop for health problems. John Fryer however
    rechanged the courtesy producing part of
    Eclipse Das Schwarze Denkmal album
    in the same year.


    1988 XIF

    Co-production of an album and a single for this pop group band, whose
    singer was Ugo Solenghi.


    1993-1998 Andromeda Complex

    Various collaborations with this band, apart the
    split work of 1993.

    He also produced this album together with Leutha (Roberta Astolfo). Emilia

    and Ivano Bizzi are also credited as production assistants.
    Leutha also was part of live line-up of Kirlian Camera in 2002 and 2003.

    Angelo Bergamini produced their debut CD

    Luxor (I), and the entire band is involved in track 11 - Guilt (Kirlian Camera Re-Mix)

    Musical project by Elena Fossi (female singer of Kirlian Camera), Andrea Savelli
    (already collaborator of Kirlian Camera) and Andrea Fossi.
    This band also supports Kirlian Camera live performances.
    Debut album called Night Parade was out on August the 29th 2002 on Shadowlab (I).
    A 102 hand-numbered copies special UFO box edition was out in June 2002.


    2003 Y-LUK-O

    Kirlian Camera remixed the track S.K.E.S. Part 3 (À La Queen Remix By Kirlian
    Camera) (4.21) for their remix album Kerion Celsi by Sonic-X.
