I used to scan mags for myself, just to have some high quality pix to use for layouts and digital art. They are quite hard to find online as they use up so much space! One day I decided to put online some of my better scans, so that other artists can use them as well... this is how this site was born. I had to change server and move thing around quite a lot recently, and I'm still not very happy with how things are now... But xoom is free, gives you a lot of space and unlimited bandwidth, which is very positive. Still, if somebody would like to host this site, I would be very grateful! Just email me!
The title for the site comes from the first album of my fave singer Robbie Williams, which is called "life thru a lens", I dropped life and was left with thru a lens, which I think fits perfectly the purpose of this site. By the way, thru a lens is also the name of my domain.
